The course is assessed both internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous, and conducted by trainers, while external assessment is performed by assessors appointed by TVET CDACC. Successful completion results in a national certificate of competency then issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Inceptor Institute of Technology.

The student should at least meet one of the following requirements:

• Attained KCSE with a mean grade of C- (Minus).
• Hold a Craft certificate Level 5 in Taxation
• Hold equivalent qualifications in a related field, as determined by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)/ relevant regulatory body.

• Industrial Attachment: An individual enrolled in this course will be required to undergo an attachment for a period of 12 Weeks
