Hairdressing and Beauty certificate Level 3 course:

This course consists of competencies that an individual must achieve to enable him/her to offer hairdressing and beauty therapy services. providing barbering services, wash and set services, producing synthetic hair piece products, providing hair plaiting and braiding services, providing basic manicure and pedicure services, and providing body and nail art services.

CDACC Program

The course is assessed both internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and conducted by trainers, while external assessment is performed by assessors appointed by TVET CDACC. Successful completion results in a national certificate of competency then issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Inceptor Institute of Technology.

Entry Requirements

-High passion and interest in hairdressing and beauty.

-For CDACC Certification –

The student should at least meet one of the following requirements:

• Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE)
• Hold equivalent qualifications in a related field, as determined by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)/ relevant regulatory body.

Course Details

CDACC Program

• Duration: 6 Months/ 2 Terms
• Cost: 52,500 per term (Assessment fee to be paid separately)
• Industrial attachment: An individual enrolled in this course will be required to undergo an industrial attachment in an ICT firm for a period of at least 5 Weeks. Attachment will be undertaken upon completion of the course or the unit of learning.
