Job Description
Job Title: Digital Skill Trainer
Location: Regional Based- Nairobi, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri, Kisumu
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer digital skills, presentations and training.
- Facilitate high quality and engaging sessions to participants which positively develops their self-confidence and builds digital skills.
- Providing training on user’s portal and OnlyZap systems, this extends to developing digital skills on online work and service marketplace.
- Responsible for making success stories from the students & maintaining accurate learner track records.
- Adhere to agreed training processes and procedures and ensure valied coaching methods are used to promote inclusive learning for all.
- Responsible for the achievement of weekly, monthly, and training cohort targets. This includes but is not limited to; running several courses per week/month, ensuring attendance is at agreed level and ensuring participants achieve agreed level of development from courses ran.
- Work closely with the project manager to perform training need assessment with in the region
- Develop, and implement a virtual training program after thoroughly analyzing training need assessment
- Design, implement and manage virtual trainings schedules.
- Integrate best practices in training schedules and procedures and issues.
- Conduct face to face or virtual Digital Skills trainings and respond to any queries from trainees
- Plan, conduct, manage and report remotely managed virtual Digital Skills trainings
- Maintain, update and report Digital Skills trainees register as required
- Attend conferences, seminars, and meetings related to Digital Skills trainings
- Work closely with trainees to make sure training and certification programs are conducted as per the guidelines and try to resolve queries and issues of trainees
- Engage with Digital Skills team to make improvements in the training programs by developing and evaluating the training manuals and methods for each training
- Facilitate projects and presentation for certification purposes
- Monitor the effectiveness of the training program by frequently evaluating the performance of the trainings
Knowledge, skills, qualifications, abilities and behavioural competences:
- BSc degree in ICT/ BBIT/ and other related field
- University Students with ICT skills are encouraged to apply
- Passion for and Hands-on experience in Training
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft windows operating systems
- Proven experience in working online
- Willing to Certify new technology trainings in short possible time
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
